Dr. Hunt began his practice in Macon County on November 4, 2002
where he worked for Primary Healthcare Group until February 28,
2007. As of March 1, 2007, Dr. Hunt has begun his own practice,
"Dr. Hunt's Family Clinic," and looks forward to continuing his
service to the people of Macon County and Macon County General
Hospital.
Dr. Hunt earned his Undergraduate B.A. Degree in Biology with
High Honors in 1981 from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr.
Hunt attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical
Branch in Galveston, Texas from 1988 - 1992. Dr. Hunt completed
his Internship and Residency in Family Practice from 1992 - 1995 at
East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. He
trained at Johnson City Medical Center and Mount Home VA Medical
Center. Dr. Hunt is Certified by the American Board of Family
Practice.
