Health Fair Information
Every year in the spring or early summer, Macon County General Hospital sponsors
a health fair for the citizens of Macon and surrounding counties. We offer
different types of blood screenings at a special price to check cholesterol,
glucose, triglycerides, thyroid, prostate, etc. We also offer free blood pressure
checks and lots of information regarding your health.
In the fall we accommodate several local businesses by going to their facility and
providing their employees with the blood screenings and flu shots. This benefits
the employees by not having to leave work to visit their doctors and also helps
the employer to help keep their employees healthy.
